If the distance exceeds 400 yds (366 mtrs) for the first 400 yds................................2.30 GBP
For each subsequent 240 yds (219 mtrs) or part thereof...........................................0.20 GBP

The above fares and charges apply in the City of Salford and all destinations within four miles of the city boundary, whichare within the Greater Manchester County.
The fare for a hiring ending outside the Greater Manchester County or more than 4 miles from the nearest point of the Salford City Boundary shall be an amount agreed with the driver before the commencement of the journey. If no such amount is agreed, the is the amount indicated on the meter at the conclusion of the journey.
